Privacy Policy

This policy covers two separate things: the Logivois app itself (which you can use on iOS, Android, or in a browser at logivois.com), and this marketing website, where you're reading this page right now. They collect different information, described separately below — using the app does not send data to this website's analytics, and this website does not collect any of your app account data.

Information We Collect

The Logivois app (iOS, Android, and web)

• Account information. Creating an account is optional. If you choose to create one, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password.
• Subscription and payment status. TODO — describe what we store about subscription/billing status, and confirm Stripe handles all card details directly.
• App content and activity. If you choose to create an account, we sync your library across your devices — the podcasts you're subscribed to, your playback position and history, and your playlists are stored on our servers. Without an account, this data stays only on your device.
• Downloaded episode data. When you download an episode for offline listening, the audio is fetched through our servers, which may cache it to speed up delivery. The downloaded file and its metadata are then stored locally on your device.
• Diagnostic logs. The app keeps a local debug log on your device to help troubleshoot issues. This log stays on your device and is only shared with us if you choose to send it to us (e.g. attaching it to a support request).

The app does not collect your location, access your camera or microphone, or use advertising or third-party analytics/tracking SDKs.

This marketing website

We use Mixpanel to understand how visitors use this website — pages viewed and which download buttons are clicked. This is anonymous usage data; we do not send Mixpanel your name, email address, or other personal information from this site, and this data is processed in the EU. This is entirely separate from the app data described above — this website has no access to your account, subscriptions, or any other app data.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide core app functionality: account access, syncing your subscriptions/playback/playlists across your devices, and processing payments for subscriptions.
• To diagnose and fix bugs, if you send us a diagnostic log.
• To communicate with you about your account (e.g. billing issues, security notices).
• To understand and improve how visitors use this website (see Mixpanel, above).

How We Share Your Information

• Stripe — processes subscription payments on our behalf.
• Mixpanel — processes anonymous website usage analytics on our behalf.
• Our hosting infrastructure — your account and sync data is stored on servers we operate. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
• We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the public.

Data Retention

We keep your account and sync data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete this data within 30 days, except where we're required to retain it for legal or fraud-prevention purposes.

Your Rights and Choices

• Access/export/delete — contact us at the email below to request a copy of your data or to delete your account. TODO — expose export directly in the app instead of requiring an email request.
• Depending on where you live (e.g. the EU/UK under GDPR, California under CCPA), you may have additional rights over your personal data — contact us to exercise them.

Children's Privacy

Logivois is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, hashed passwords) to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Changes to This Policy

We'll update the effective date above if we make material changes, and where appropriate, notify you in-app.
